A C5 axis is a rotation around a point which can be completed 5 times before returning to the original position of the molecule.
E.g. a rotation of 72° (360°/5 = 72) will give the same configuration of the molecule (as can be shown by the C5 axis in eclipsed ferrocene shown below).
